Bengaluru: Assam man beaten on suspicion of being child lifter
A 45-year-old man named Chandrakumar from Assam was tied to a pole and beaten by locals of Doddanekundi in Bengaluru on suspicion of being a child lifter. Residents said they saw Chandrakumar roaming suspiciously and one couple claimed he tried to abduct their child. They later handed him over to the police.
