GT Devegowda who defeated Siddaramaiah arrives in Bengaluru for a high- level JD(S) meet
The 'giant killer' GT Deve Gowda who defeated Siddaramaiah from Chamundeshwari constituency, situated in the Karnataka chief minister’s home district of Mysuru, arrived in Bengaluru for a JD(S) party meeting at the Shangri-La hotel. He said none of the BJP leaders congratulated him nor has he spoken to any of their leaders. When asked if BJP will be successful in poaching leaders from JD(S) and Congress, he said that those who leave the parties will have to face consequences.
