In a heart-touching gesture towards Sikhs, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong wore a turban for the inauguration ceremony of the Silat Road Sikh Temple.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong stunned the Sikh community by wearing a turban and attending a renewed gurudwara's inauguration ceremony. Wearing a white turban, Singapore Prime Minister also greeted the community members with a "Sat Sri Akaal".
Singapore PM also praised the local Sikh community for granting support to people through various plans during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A video of Loong wearing a white kurta and a turban as he spoke to the Sikh community has emerged on social media.
