The woman is suspected to be under the influence of alcohol and the video of the incident goes viral on social media.
However, as the police arrived at the spot, she managed to flee, and officials have started searching to arrest the woman.
According to a report on The Indian Express, senior inspector Balasaheb Kopnar, in charge of Swargate police station, was quoted saying, “As per our information, the woman came to Hirabag from Khadak area. The video shows her lying down on the road for a few minutes. After police received the call, our teams went to the spot but she managed to flee.”
