West Bengal registers 2,753 new COVID-19 cases; 50 deaths

West Bengal's COVID-19 death toll went up to 8,966 on Friday (December 11), with 50 people succumbing to the disease. 

<p>According to the state health bulletin, 2,753 new COVID-19 cases were reported in a single day in the state. The total number of COVID cases rose to 5,16,505 so far.<br />&nbsp;</p>

<p>Out of the 50 deaths, 15 were reported from North 24 Parganas and 13 from Kolkata.&nbsp;</p>
