This sexy actress to play adult film star Shakeela on screen

FollowBollywood actress Richa Chadda has been roped in to play the lead role in a biopic on Malayalam adult movie star Shakeela.
After, Vidya Balan created headlines back in 2011 when her movie The Dirty Picture on the South siren, Silk Smitha, was released. Now Richa Chadda is all set to follow in Vidya Balan's footsteps by doing a biopic on Shakeela, a ’90s actress from Kerala who acted in several adult films in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
The movie will narrate the story of Shakeela from the time she entered the adult film business at the age of 16 to how she became a popular figure in the showbiz at a time when men dominated the film industry.
Official statement made by Richa's spokesperson stated, “The film is the story of Shakeela, one of the most famous actors from Mollywood from the 1990s who rose to a spectacular amount of fame. Her fans were spread across Asia and she earned fanfare as a woman who back then was unheard of.”
“The movie’s script was exciting and is a great story to tell and the story will make for a great watch for the audience from both North and South. The preparations will begin soon and the film should be going on floors in the end April or May,” the spokesperson added.
The Dirty Picture can easily be termed as one of the most successful films in Vidya Balan’s career. Will Richa can re-create the same magic with this movie?
