Keerthy Suresh shocks filmmakers with a hefty fee for Mahanati
Actress Keerthy Suresh is one of the most talented actresses in South film industry.
FollowKeerthy Suresh debut film is Nenu Sailja and the second film is Nenu Local. Both were blockbusters. She has also appeared in only two Telugu films till now.
Keerthy will be next seen in Mahanati which will chronicle the life of legendary heroine, Savithri. After considering a few actresses, the filmmakers finally zeroed in on happening young Tamil actress Keerthy for the role.
In the trailer and stills, Keerthy looked every bit like Savitri, which made the audiences curious about the movie.
According to reports, Keerthy is allegedly being paid a whopping Rs 1.50 crores as her remuneration. Surprisingly, Keerthy's paycheck is higher or equal than what the top South heroines like Samantha, Kajal, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah take per movie.
The movie will release on May 9th in Telugu as Mahanati and in Tamil as Nadigaiyar Thialagam. The movie is helmed by Nag Ashwin and features Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Devarakona. Mahanati team is currently busy with promotions.
