Malayalam filmmaker Abrid Shine, who last directed Kalidas Jayaram's Poomaram is all set for a new movie.
This will be Abrid Shine's second movie on sports after 1983 which featured Nivin Pauly and was based on cricket. 1983 portrays the life of Rameshan who fails to become a cricketer, but he fulfils his dream through his son when he comes to know he has a desire to become a cricketer. The movie was a blockbuster.
However, this time the director wants all newcomers in his movie. Therefore he is calling aspiring actors from the age group between 18 to 40 for an audition.
Abrid Shine's next hit was Action hero Biju. The movie was on the life of a police officer who left his teaching profession and went to serve in the police. Shine's movies have been successful in catering to the interests of all types of audience.
