FollowBengaluru: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday (March 19) released the complete schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 12. All matches will be held in India.

“The BCCI is pleased to announce that not only will the entire tournament be held in India, but also each of the eight franchises will play their 7 home games at their respective venues,” a media advisory from IPL said on Tuesday (March 19).
“The Board thanks the Election Commission of India, local police authorities at each venue for their cooperation. This has ensured that the league sticks to the home and away format.
“The schedule for Playoffs will be announced later,” it added.
IPL matches will be played from March 23 to May 5. Earlier, the BCCI had released the match schedule till April 5. Bengaluru will witness the first match on April 28 when Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI).
