“Tomorrow at 7 PM IST my good friend @KP24 and I are going live on Instagram. Tune in to catch us chatting about what's happening world over at the moment and also about all the years we've known each other,” Kohli wrote on Wednesday evening (April 1).

Recently, Pietersen had a live chat session on Instagram with India limited-overs team vice-captain Rohit Sharma. As India and many countries across the world continue their battle against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there is no cricket happening.

The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) was to start on March 29 but has been deferred till April 15. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to take a call on hosting the cash-rich Twenty20 tournament.

Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma have contributed to ‘Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund’ (PM CARES Fund) and the chief minister’s relief fund to help the country fight against the coronavirus.

The Delhi right-hand batsman said, “Anushka and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps easing the pain of our fellow citizens #IndiaFightsCorona (sic).”
