A video of a nail artist using a real live fish and inserting it in a mini aquarium created in an acrylic nail is going viral.
The nail art tutorial video shared by Nail Sunny, a nail salon, on Instagram has sparked outrage over the internet.
The artist can be seen prepping the nail with aqua blue and silver glitter polish in the video.
Then the artist picks a small fish from the water tank and inserts it in a mini acrylic aquarium created on the nail.
As the video ends, the artist put back the fish in the water and captioned the video, “The aquarium. No fish were harmed #tutorialnailsunny (sic).”
But as the video went online, people started expressing their displeasure towards using a live fish for the nail art.
