Bengaluru: It may be a joy for students and parents as the education minister announced that he intends to make every Saturday a 'no bag' day in schools.
Minister Suresh Kumar on Thursday announced that the focus will be on extracurricular activities and social skills such as sensitising students about interactions between genders, civic responsibility, etc.
However, lack of clarity on completion of the syllabus haunts teachers and experts in the field of education as they may lose out on 30 days if this comes into effect
