Hundreds of Congress workers gheraoed central minister DV Sadananda Gowda during his Covid Hospital inspection in Hebbal that falls under his Bengaluru North Lok Sabha seat limits.

The workers were enraged by seeing a former MLA of Hebbal who accompanied Gowda and accused the leaders of playing politics during a pandemic.

It is said that Suresh managed to get Rs 1 crore lakhs and also funds and opened a separate 100-bed Covid block at Rajiv Gandhi Medical Hospital at Cholanayakanahalli in Hebbal.

As there is a monthly expense of about Rs 1 crore in treating and managing Covid patients, the MLA took funds from his businessmen friends Suhail, Suhaas and Manyata Rotary and runs the hospital which also gets about 30% of funds from the BBMP. As the Congress workers and volunteers were monitoring the hospital administration, upon seeing the former MLA with MP Sadananda, assumed that there's an attempt to steal the show, raised slogans against the BJP leader.
