Schools and colleges in Mumbai will not reopen till January 15

Revising its earlier decision to keep schools and colleges in Mumbai shut till December 31, the city's civic body Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation noted that the second wave of Coronavirus in other countries has forced a rethink on the issue.

In a revised circular, the BMC said that the state government had decided to keep government and private schools and colleges closed till January 15 due to the second wave of Coronavirus in other countries.

The circular further said that the Covid situation in the city was under control.
