Recalling his initial days, the CEO said that one of his first jobs upon joining Apple in 1998 was to visit Singapore to validate the production line for the original iMac, which was manufactured in Singapore.

Going technical into the product, Apple II used a MOS 6502 chip for its central processing unit (CPU) and came with 4KB RAM and could be extended up to 48 KB RAM. Originally, its external storage was on cassette after which the company introduced an external floppy drive.

Talking about the initial days of the company, in 1981, Apple had set up its first office in Singapore and currently, it is investing in the app industry. The Singapore government has reportedly mandated that primary school students must be taught coding for at least 10 hours.
