Files App
With iOS 11, Apple gets an all-new Files app. It ensures all your files, including the ones on iCloud, are well organised.
Dock
The iOS 11 brings an expanded dock that can be pulled up with an upwards swipe. It helps to switch between apps easily. You can open a second app from the dock, and both apps will stay active in Slide Over and Split View. The App Switcher displays all your recently accessed apps.
Drag and Drop
The name says it all! This highly anticipated feature will let you simply drag and drop text, links, photos, files and other media content. It also supports multitouch ability. You can also annotate, scribble and take notes using the new Instant Markup feature.
Document Scanner
The all-new Document Scanner in Notes will scan documents, take out glare and crop the edges. You can even sign it with the Apple Pencil.
Apple Pencil
iOS 11 further expands support for the Apple Pencil such as inline drawings within Mail and Notes. You can take instant notes from the lockscreen too.
QuickType
To bring an end to switching between keyboards to add punctuation, it adds the new QuickType keyboard. Users can add letters, numbers, symbols and punctuation in the same keyboard.
