Police find 15-day-old corpse from house after drunken man boasts of it

The body is suspected to be of Maruthan, a native of Thavalam Mani told his relatives that a corpse is buried inside his house Martuhan is Mani's friend and has been missing for two weeks 

A body was found buried inside a house in Attappady, Palakkad. It is suspected that the deceased is a tribal named Maruthan, a native of Thavalam. 

Police suspect that the body is 15-days-old as Maruthan went missing two weeks ago. The officials are conducting a search at the house of Mani, a friend of the deceased.  

The incident came to light after Mani boasted to his relatives that a dead body was buried inside his house. He was drunk, and the relatives became suspicious and informed police about Mani's statement.
