Virgin Hyperloop has proposed to bring down the commute from the centre of Bengaluru to the Kempegowda International Airport down to 10 minutes. The hyperloop is touted to transport thousands of passengers per hour from KIA to the city centre in under 10 minutes.
Bengaluru: Virgin Hyperloop, a leading company in hyperloop technology, and Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL), operator of the Kempegowda International Airport, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to conduct a feasibility study for a proposed hyperloop corridor.
Virgin Hyperloop has proposed to bring down the commute from the centre of Bengaluru to the Kempegowda International Airport down to ten minutes.
The hyperloop is touted to transport thousands of passengers per hour from KIA to the city centre in just under 10 minutes.

In a statement, KIA officials stated, "With speeds of up to 1,080 kmph, hyperloop could transport thousands of passengers per hour from KIA to the city centre in under 10 minutes, according to the preliminary analysis".
The airport officials made the announcement on the airport’s Twitter handle.
