"At 10:50 am the school got a bomb threat via e-mail. We evacuated all the students. We deployed BDT and BDS teams. We informed the Special Cell and Special Branch. We have done a visual search with the SWAT team," the DCP said.

A senior police officer said an individual - identified only as Brijesh at this time - had alerted authorities about the e-mail, which was received at 10:49 am.

Several visuals surfaced on social media and showed parents and children gathered outside the school. One video showed over half a dozen armed security personnel, in blue uniforms and with bulletproof vests, moving swiftly on to the school's campus via a small red gate.
