According to the state health bulletin, 51 people were infected with COVID-19 in Kolkata in a single day. so far, a total of 1,27,982 cases were reported in Kolkata.
59 people were infected with COVID-19 in a single day in North 24 Parganas. However, North 24 Parganas tops the list in the number of COVID-19 cases followed by Kolkata.
According to the state health bulletin, the total number of active cases in the state stands at 5,196.
Meanwhile, 303 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the state in a single day and have returned home from the hospital. The recovery rate stands at 97.30 percent.
