Ola Electric Scooter with Swappable Battery
Ola Electric will soon launch its latest electric scooter. Bhavish Aggarwal, founder of Ola Electric, shared three images of the upcoming scooter on social media, showcasing its design and the new swappable battery.
Ola Electric Scooter Features
The images reveal a portion of the scooter's front, confirming a load bed behind the rider's seat. Notable design elements include a front apron-mounted headlamp, crash guards, and foot pegs positioned behind the rider's footwell.
Ola Electric Scooter Design
The design may allow for carrying loads in the footwell, similar to some delivery-focused scooters. The images suggest a potentially removable rear seat.
Ola Electric Scooter Load Capacity
The Ola Electric scooter's fairing extends around a single-person seat, with the frame extending beyond the fairing. This provides ample space for the load bed. Under-seat storage might be limited due to the swappable battery. The image suggests space for two batteries. A hub-mounted electric motor is also expected.
Ola Electric Swappable Battery
The third image provides the first look at Ola's swappable battery. Earlier this year, patent images of the Ola scooter battery were leaked online. Current Ola electric scooters have fixed batteries located beneath the footwell.
Ola Electric Scooter Launch
Reports suggest the new Ola Electric scooter might be a lower-speed model, unlike Ola's other models. Ola is expected to launch the scooter next week.
