Karachi Kings skipper Imad Wasim was injured during the game against Lahore Qalandars on Sunday in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). The Kings captain hurt himself after taking a catch off fellow fast bowler Mohammad Amir. Imad ran backwards before taking a catch from near his face but tumbled on his back, causing his neck and head to hit hard on the ground. The owner of Karachi Kings, Salman Iqbal, rushed Wasim to the hospital soon after the match finished. Iqbal later took to Twitter to inform the concerned cricket fans about Wasim's health and mentioned that he was fine and safe. He also said that Wasim will be kept overnight at the hospital and will be under observation.
