Bajrang Dal, the self-proclaimed guardians of Indian ‘culture’, have a new diktat for pub owners in Hyderabad. The fringe group's members marched into some pubs and clubs in Banjara and Jubilee Hills and told the owners that they must not conduct any special programmes on Valentine’s Day because that would mean celebrating a ‘foreign culture’. Bajrang Dal members also conducted seminars in around 100 schools apparently to educate students not to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
