FollowThe recent news about Telangana Rashtra Samithi Youth Leader Srinivas Reddy throwing out his first wife and marrying a second has caused uproar in the higher cadre with chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao asking his son and IT Minster K Taraka Ramarao to look into the matter.
According to reliable sources, KCR and KTR expressed their anger at the local leaders for not taking action against Srinivas Reddy who had violently treated his wife. This resulted in his suspension from the party.
As reported earlier Srinivas Reddy married Sangeetha in 2013 and they have a baby daughter. After the baby was born, Srinivas and his parents harassed Sangeetha for additional dowry. Unable to bear the harassment she left for her parents house in Chandanagar.
Taking advantage of this, Srinivas married another local woman Devi Jagadeswari. When Sangeetha came to question him about his marriage, Srinivas and his parents kicked her out of the house. The whole scene was recorded and posted on social media with news stories in the media.
Sangeetha is on a fight for justice outside her husband’s home. Police have taken Srinivas into remand but her in-laws are absconding. Sangeetha’s fight for justice continued on the third day and women organisations came out in support of her. They demanded the arrest of her in-laws.
