A report by a daily said that over 50 women seem to have come forward sharing their unpleasant experiences with TVF CEO Arunabh Kumar. Now, a complaint has been filed against Kumar by an independent lawyer. It is filed in Mumbai, by a Mumbai-based lawyer, according to Times of India.

The complaint filed is under IPC sections 354, 354-A, 354-D and 509 for "intentionally indulging into various wilful, criminal, vulgar and continuous acts of sexual harassment at workplace coupled with acts of outraging the modesty of women as well as molesting women at the workplace."

Advocate Rizwan Siddiqui, who filed the complaint told the news site, "I have filed a complaint. The complaint would translate into FIR hopefully by tomorrow (Friday). I have filed the complaint with the women's commission as well."

An anonymous post isn't enough to prove someone guilty, and according to TVF, didn't require an investigation. The Viral Fever refuted it completely and instead threatened to take legal action against the person. However, soon many women came forward with their horrid experiences with Arunabh Kumar, CEO, TVF. It should be noted that most of these women wrote from their official handles and the least TVF could do is set up an investigation to dig deeper into the matter.

Once, the post on Medium went live, this was the reply from TVF.

Read it word by word and it is nothing but a perfect mix of denial and threat. "We will leave no stone unturned," it said. On the other hand, there are others who came forward in support of at least starting an investigation as so many women wouldn't begin lying simultaneously.
