Without the support of my fans I am nothing AR Rahman

On July 8, AR Rahman performed a concert at Wembley in London titled Netru, Indru, Naalai.

During the concert he sung many songs from Dil Se to Jai Ho. However, some of his audience have left midway because he performed a number of Tamil songs.

This issue sparked a serious debate on music and the language barriers. Wherein, many have trolled him on social media and also claimed that they had left the concert halfway and demanded refunds.

In twitter and other social networking sites, he was accused of being disrespectful to his fans by performing a number of Tamil songs.

In reply to this, in an award function in New York, AR Rahman said, "We try our best. We try to be honest. I love the way people have supported me for all these years. Without them I'm nothing. I'm grateful to all of them."
