Tamil superstar Kamal Hassan’s most ambitious project, Vishwaroopam II, has resumed shooting in Turkey. The film is slated to release and the end of 2017. The film will be a Tamil-Hindi bilingual and a sequel to the hit Vishwaroopam.

The first part of Vishwaroopam was released in January 2013.

It was said that Kamal Haasan had shot most of the second part of the movie along with the first part.

The release of Vishwaroopam part one was delayed for a week owing to political pressure.

Part two of the film franchise was slated to be released in 2014, but due to a dispute with the producer, the movie’s release was withheld.

According to sources, the dispute was settled between Kamal Haasan and the producer a few weeks ago. After filming scenes in Turkey, the shooting would continue in Chennai in the first week of July for the filming of few remaining scenes.

It was planned that the movie would release in Tamil and Hindi on the same date. The film will also be dubbed in Telugu.
