Did you know Kohli not the first superstar to carry drinks on field

How many times would you see someone of the stature of Virat Kohli carrying drinks on the field for his teammates? The saddest thing the Indian cricket fans heard early on Saturday that Kohli has pulled out of the series-deciding Test against Australia in Dharamsala and the next thing they saw was the run machine carrying drinks for the Indian players on the field.

If still, one would want to criticise this man, it might be a really good to take a couple of steps back and think about his commitment. Kohli pulled out of the 4th Test in Dharamsala because of his shoulder injury. As a result, Ajinkya Rahane is leading India in this ongoing Test.

Kohli came out with drinks for his teammates who kind of looked hapless on the field without their leader. They also did not seem to have the steam and aggression on the field and that is exactly where Aussie skipper Steve Smith and David Warner capitalised.

Smith is en route yet another century in this series and Kohli might just have come up with some word of advice for the stand-in captain and his teammates during that short break.

However, Kohli is not the only superstar who has carried drinks on the field. Earlier, Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting have also carried drinks for their teammates in the past.

Here is a proof:
