'Happily Ever After' is not merely a tagline for the newly married. Indeed, it is very difficult to live up to it, especially when life is full of challenges and ups and down. Wedding vows are one thing, almost easy to make when the times are great, but when you live up to your vows even when the sun is not at its brightest is what makes a memorable love story.
An article by METRO UK narrates the story of an elderly couple that will give you serious relationship goals. The love they share is simply amazing, despite the hidden sorrow that forms the plotline of the story. Jean and Brian are said to be visiting the nearby makeup store regularly, but not to buy cosmetics, but for lessons.
One of the store employees reveal how Brian has been learning to do make up for his wife before she goes completely blind. Sharing their story online, the employee reportedly said "This is why I love my job so much".
She further added in her Twitter post:
I could actually cry! Relationship goals 😭❤️ pic.twitter.com/scCh4zu54h— Scott Summers (@itsscottsummers) October 22, 2017
Meet Jean and Brian two of our very loyal customers, Brian was in for another make-up lesson today as he does his wife’s make-up everyday as she is going blind, such a wonderful couple who live their life to the full! [sic]’.
The image of the lady sitting and her man standing behind her, almost symbolising the silent support he is extends to her, is doing the rounds of the Internet and has won over 71,000 shares on Twitter. And this is how Twitter reacted to the story.
