Poll code shadow over IPL and Marathon

A High Court advocate from Bengaluru has approached the election commission, asking them to cancel all the IPL matches and marathons that will be held Bengaluru. S Umesh, the advocate, says that he has information about candidates giving IPL match tickets to their supporters and also sponsoring events like marathons that will take place in the first week of May. Hence he has raised an objection and asked the CEC to cancel all events and cricket matches until May 12. A second contention is that due to security arrangements at Chinnaswamy stadium, police personnel deployed cannot do the duty efficiently and may fail in checking money transaction.
