Dileep uses family as a shield to claim his innocence

After admitting that Dileep informed about the letter from Pulsar Suni, DGP Loknath Behera clarified that a Whatsapp message cannot be considered as a complaint. The state police chief had, during an interview with a television channel, agreed to Dileep's claim that he had informed about Suni's letter to the DGP over the phone and through Whatsapp.

Meanwhile, police said that the actor was under observation, even before he filed the complaint. Dileep's friend and director Nadirshah received the first phone call from Suni on March 28.

However, they filed a written complaint only on April 22. Why did the actor wait for 26 days to file a complaint if they felt that Pulsar Suni was threatening them? The police asked.

There are reports that the cops are preparing a fresh affidavit with more evidence against the actor to resist his bail move.

Meanwhile, latest reports are that the actor had also mentioned the name of his daughter Meenakshi in the bail plea. According to his bail petition, Meenakshi decided to stay with Dileep even after he got a divorce from Manju Warrier and this was without any one's influence.

The petition also states that the girl is under his protection ever since the divorce and this shows that he is a family person.

Another allegation is that the actor was arrested a few months before Meenakshi's 18th birthday and this also proves that there was a conspiracy behind the arrest.

Meanwhile, Dileep's mother visited him in jail on August 11, after the High Court postponed the bail plea. This is the first time any family member other than Anoop, the brother of the actor, is visiting him in jail.

Dileep's mother Sarojam visited him along with Anoop. Dileep's brother-in-law, Sooraj, too had accompanied them but did not enter the premises. As per sources, Dileep had asked his close relatives to abstain from visiting him at the jail.

It has been a month since the actor was lodged in Aluva sub jail for conspiring to attack the actress who was abused in a moving car.
