Karnataka Election 2018: No to Prajwal, but Anitha Kumaraswamy gets JD(S) ticket?

FollowSources have stated that JD(S) State President HD Kumaraswamy has announced his wife Anitha as the candidate for Channapatna Constituency in the next Assembly election in Karnataka. Even after trying hard for five years, Prajwal Revanna, was not given a ticket citing family politics as the reason.
Prajwal Revanna is the son of former Chief Minister of Karnataka and the JD(S) State President HD Kumaraswamy's elder brother HD Revanna. Revanna is the MLA from Holenarasipur Constituency. Prajwal was trying for a ticket from Hunsur Constituency for over four years now. But he was made to keep his mouth shut and ordered not to speak anything against the party.
Both former PM HD Deve Gowda, who is the JD(S) Supremo, and HD Kumaraswamy cited that only two people will contest from the family. But now, as elections draw near, HDK has broken the rule and has nominated his wife to contest from Channapatna constituency.
Prajwal was recently made the party general secretary and was asked to strengthen the party's presence in the state.
With the announcement of Anitha's candidacy, let us wait and watch if Prajwal's demand comes to the fore again to ruffle the feathers within the party.
