Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was his baby as he had nurtured the side until he was forced to resign from the post of chairman and non-executive director of Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited (RCSPL) in February 2016. RCSPL runs RCB and RCSPL is a fully owned subsidiary of United Spirits, which is also a part of a UK-based group - Diageo.
His players were very close to him and they often heaped praises on their owner during the post-match parties. From Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, Darren Sammy, AB de Villiers to many other players across the globe, have partied with the liquor baron and shared 'Good Time' together.
