SRH vs KXIP Preview team news and likely XIs

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are back at their den and will host Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Match no. 19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 on Monday. After a brilliant start to their campaign, David Warner and co. suddenly went off the track and so did Glenn Maxwell's KXIP.

Both teams won their first two matches of IPL 2017 and then went on to lose two away games. Therefore, both SRH and KXIP are charged up to register a win in this match so that they can turn the tides in their favour. One can surely expect a lot of fireworks considering the fact that Hyderabad has a high-scoring pitch.

Rashid Khan has been a revelation in IPL 2017 for SRH and without any doubt whatsoever, he will continue to retain his place in the playing XI. Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh and Moises Henriques are the only four batsmen, who have been scoring runs for SRH. They need more from their middle-order. Naman Ojha has been absolutely poor with the bat and he needs to step up as well. Warner probably needs to give a pep talk to get rid of this middle-order conundrum.

KXIP on the other hand, need to rethink about their batting strategies. Virender Sehwag might just need to bring in someone like Martin Guptill or Shaun Marsh at the top of the order to keep the pace going. In that case, Hashim Amla will have to make his way out for the team's cause.

After the first two matches, KXIP have not lived upto their high standards they had set and now they are finding themselves jostling with the other teams for a top-four place. If things go well, Maxwell and co. might just overcome the SRH force.
