IPL 2017 This is how Shane Warne saved MS Dhoni from the critics

The air around MS Dhoni has not been comfortable ever since the start of the 10th edition of the IPL. The talismanic former India skipper has not scored a lot of runs in the IPL and that has not impressed his critics obviously. With India looking to defend their ICC Champions Trophy soon, Dhoni has not fired and that is indeed not a good sign.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly had said a few days ago, "I am not too sure if Dhoni is a good T20 player. He is a champion ODI player but when it comes to T20 cricket, in 10 years, he has got one fifty and that's not the best record."

Even Michael Clarke added,"Dhoni has to score runs for himself. As a professional, he has to." But Australian spinning legend Shane Warne came to the rescue of our favourite 'Mahi.' He shut the critics up with one tweet of his which proved that he regards Dhoni very highly as a cricketer and he should not be questioned.

Here's the tweet:

But as a matter of fact, a number of Indian players have been out of form and it includes Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan. The ICC Champions Trophy is slated to begin from June 1 and India are the defending champions.
