FollowGame of Thrones season 7 finally premiered and dropped two major spoilers in its very first episode. Fans who sat glued to their TV sets were shocked when they saw two very important people meet: Arya Stark and Ed Sheeran.
Admittedly, no one expected this especially since the plot details of Game of Thrones season 7 spilled even before the premiere. Sheeran's cameo, without a doubt, was one of the best kept secrets of the latest installment.
In the premiere episode, Sheeran's role is limited to a few minutes. He acts like a Lannister soldier and displays his strong skill, singing a song from George R.R. Martin's books, A Song of Ice and Fire. The lyrics. which go like this: "For hands of gold are always cold, but a woman's hands are warm" catches Arya's attention as she rides her horse in the Lannisters' homeland.

The girl with many faces rides towards Sheeran and the rest of the Lannister soldiers and shares a meal with them. She even says what she's doing in the Lannister territory: she plans to kill Queen Cersei.

So far, we don't know if Arya kills Sheeran and the rest of the Lannister soldiers after she makes the statement but we have a sneaky suspicion that she will. After all, Arya rarely reveals her plan and when she does, she acts on it swiftly. Will she take on the mask of one of the Lannister soldiers? We'll have to wait and watch when Game of Thrones season 7 episode 2 airs next Sunday.
