Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan will be next seen in director Srinath Rajendran's film. The movie is based on the life of Kerala’s best known fugitive Sukumara Kuruppu.
According to reports, Sukumara Kuruppu was accused of the murder of Chacko, a film representative, in the year 1984 and became the most wanted criminal in Kerala back then. There have been several stories and rumours about what happened to Sukumara Kuruppu. Some believe he is still alive. In the mid-2000s there were many news on Sukumara's look-alikes. In 1984, NH 47, a Malayalam film was made based on Chacko's murder which was directed by Baby.
Dulquer will be working with Srinath Rajendran six years after his debut film Second Show, and according to his Facebook post, we can see his excitement about the project.
The Charlie actor took to his official Facebook page to share the news and also posted his first look. He wrote, “So at long last. Nearly 6 years later I reunite with my brother Srinath Rajendran the director of my debut film Second Show for a very ambitious film. I think we’ve discussed this during Second Show. But I guess everything has its own time. Early 2018 we hope to go on the floors with this film. And it’s something I’m super super thrilled about. Happy to share this with all of you 😘😘☺☺👏🏻👏🏻”

According to reports, Dulquer will be seen playing the role of Sukumara Kuruppu and other details are yet to come. Other than this, The CIA star is also a part of other massive projects like the bilingual biopic of veteran actor Savitri titled Mahanati featuring top actresses like Keerthy Suresh and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Sukumara Kurup will go on the floors early 2018.
