In Pics: Did Samantha Ruth Prabhu make a blunder with this dress?

We all know Bollywood actresses are very fond of Metallic shades. Whether it is in their glasses or attires or handbags, they know how to add bling to their look. 

From Alia Bhat to Shilpa Shetty to Katrina Kaif to Deepika Padukone, actresses have been opting for the shiny look and joining the list is our Southen hottie, Samantha Prabhu.

Recently, Samantha chose to go metallic golden at the launch of Maaza Gold event. A few loved the dress, but some fashion critics said the whole dress looked too showy and loud.

If she could have just worn the gold crop top with some other subtle skirt, it would have looked better. However, we loved her outfit as stand-alone pieces.
 
The actress wore a gold crop top from the house of Amit Aggarwal with floral design at the hem along with a pleated metallic skirt. Celebrity stylist Ami Patel, who dresses up Samantha went a little overboard while giving this look.
 

The crop top is anyways loud and has a golden sheen, and we think it was a blunder this time. Samantha's styling could have been much better.
