Silpa Mohans close follower Karim leaves to join TDP

According to the reports in Telugu One India, Nandyal by-election YCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) candidate Silpa Mohan Reddy’s close confidante of 15 years and minority leader, Karim, defected from YCP to join TDP giving a huge shock to Silpa Mohan.

In the August 3rd meeting held in Nandyal SPG High School Grounds, Silpa Mohan said that Karim Bhai’s hand in his victory would be immense. Karim is very effective in garnering Muslim voters as he is recognised by hundreds of businessman since he is the Nandyal Vegetable Market Committee Chairman.

Silpa Mohan Reddy is alleged to have been burdening the markets with lakhs of rupees through Goodwill allotments of Vegetable Market shops. TDP took advantage of this and influenced the Vegetable Market shops to join their side.

Nandi Group of Companies MD Sridhar Reddy, Ministers Kalva Srinivasulu, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Bhuma Akhila Priya, Kurnool MLA SV Mohan Reddy, MLC NMD Farooq and minority leader Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed are alleged to be responsible for influencing Karim to join TDP.

TDP group is happy with the joining of Karim into the party. In a program organised in the vegetable market, TDP leaders invited Karim Bhai with a stole. In a recent event, National Educational Institutions Chairman Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed joined TDP.

With the coming of these two minority leaders into TDP, the chances of influencing the minority voters has doubled and the TDP cadre is happy with the turn of events.
